A1: Yes, this is part of our high-voltage silicone wire range. Our full series covers DC 10KV to 100KV. If standard specifications cannot meet your requirements, we can customize the insulation wall thickness and structure for your target voltage resistance.
Q2: Can this wire withstand 100KV DC voltage continuously for long-term use? Can you provide test reports as proof?
A2: Yes. Every reel of the 100KV version goes through a full hipot test before shipment. Test reports can be supplied together with the goods.
Q3: We are a research lab and only need 20 meters for prototype testing. Do you accept such small orders?
A3: Yes, we do. We support sample and small-batch orders for R&D. Lab customers can buy standard reels or have the wire cut to length, to help you complete sufficient verification before mass production.
Q4: The wires from our previous supplier developed partial discharge failures after a few months. How do you prevent this issue?
A4: Partial discharge is mainly caused by voids and impurities inside the insulation. We control this from three aspects: adopting high-purity silicone raw material, vacuum degassing during extrusion, and conducting 100% hipot test plus random partial discharge test (available on request) on finished products. Test reports are provided for each batch, and traceability is available for non-conforming batches.
Q5: What is the conductor cross-section, insulation thickness and minimum bending radius of this wire?
A5: For the standard 100KV type: conductor cross-section approx. 2.5 mm², insulation thickness approx. 11.5 mm, minimum bending radius >= 8 × outer diameter. Final data shall be subject to the confirmed specification sheet.
